Our Heritage

Located on Central California’s popular Blossom Trail, Belmont Nursery has established a long tradition of quality dating back to the early 1940’s. Originally founded by Vic and Ruby Palmer, then passed along to Jerry & Varrel Palmer, this small family nursery has grown in size and territory. Current owners Jon and Connie Reelhorn have been at the helm since 2000, bringing a new energy and life to an already successful operation.

During the last seven years, the Reelhorns have added property, reorganized and revamped their growing grounds into a visually appealing arrangement, both for the garden center buyer,the landscape contractors, architect and designers.

Like many successful companies, Belmont has implemented specific strategies to set them apart from others. Assembling a knowledgeable staff of experts tops our list along with continual training for all levels of our staff. The California Association of Nurseries and Garden Centers has established rigid criteria for certifying individuals who have completed course study and testing.  Currently Belmont Nursery has 9 California Certified Nursery Professionals on staff to assist you with your plant needs.
