General Questions
- Where are you located?
- Our nursery is located in the central San Joaquin Valley at 7730 E. Belmont in Fresno, California, 2.5 miles east of Clovis Avenue on Belmont Avenue. Click here to see a map.
- The Belmont Nursery Distribution Center is located adjacent to our retail office and shares the same sales facility retail yard. It serves you, the landscape professional, with an outstanding staff of horticultural experts and California Certified Nursery Professionals.
- We combine a sampling of the products from all of our facilities at this location.
- What kind of plants do you grow?
- We grow containerized trees, shrubs, and perennials from 2" liners to 48" boxes.
- Do you specialize in any particular plants ?
- Our specialty crops include Pistacia chinensis Keith Davey, deciduous Magnolias, and Lagerstroemia. We also grow over 100 varieties of Japanese Maples.
- How do I become a wholesale customer?
- You need to fill out our customer information application and present a copy of your business license and tax-exempt certificate if applicable.
- We offer wholesale pricing to licensed landscape contractors, general contractors, garden centers, wholesale growers, landscape architects, landscape designers, municipalities, certified arborists and churches. We also offer discounts to licensed gardeners.

- How can I get a current availability and price list?
- Click on our Our Plants page and then click on Current Availability to find out what is top quality now. This list won't show pricing, but it will give you an idea of what is available now.
- If you need more information, we'll be happy to fax or e-mail our availability at your request. Please call us at 559-255-6645 and mention that you saw us on the internet and are interested in buying from us. You can also sign up on our contact form and we'll set you right up.
- What credit cards do you accept?
- We accept Visa, Master Card or American Express cards.
- What are your business hours?
- Our spring, summer, and fall wholesale operation is open for business Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We close at 4:30 in winter.
- The retail office is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We close at 4:30 in the winter and we are closed on Sundays.
- Do you guarantee your plants?
- We guarantee that your plant material is sold to you in good condition and free of pest and disease issues. Because we offer special pricing to our wholesale customers who are nursery and landscape professionals, we do not extend any additional guarantees.
Delivery Questions
- Where do you deliver?
- Belmont Nursery delivers plant materials throughout the central San Joaquin valley from Bakersfield to Roseville, California’s central coast, east bay area and up to Reno and Lake Tahoe areas. We will soon expand our delivery area to the San Francisco Bay area.
- If you are outside these areas, you are still welcome to pick up materials from our local distribution yard.
- Full truckload orders may be arranged outside of these areas when manageable. Please contact our customer service manager for details.
- What requirements are there for delivery?
- We require that your yard or job site be of a size to handle a tractor trailer or straight truck for deliveries.
- We also require that you provide ample help to unload your order in a timely manner. Our drivers will assist you in unloading, but can not unload without help.
- How do you charge for delivery?
- Delivery charges vary by zone.
- Charges start at $35.00 or a percentage of your order, whichever is higher.
Freight rates range from 6% to 9% depending upon your distance from the nursery. Please call the office to determine your delivery zone.
- How do you load your plant material?
- Belmont Nursery materials are shelved or stacked in our closed van trailers and trucks to help eliminate transportation damage caused by the elements.
- Large trees are loaded on the trailer or flatbed with a fork lift and require equipment provided by the customer at the jobsite or nursery for unloading.
- Great care is taken to ensure your material arrives in the same condition as when it left our growing facility.
